Sign-Up Form For Judges Now Available

The Orange County Science & Engineering Fair (OCSEF) is an annual event organized to encourage the youth of our county to learn more about STEM and to consider careers in the STEM field.  Judges play a critical role in the science fair experience. Your interviews with students can affect students profoundly, sometimes altering their career choices and almost always influencing their attitudes toward science and technology.

The 2021 OCSEF will be virtual.  We hope that you will support the youth of Orange County and our program by volunteering as a Judge.

Judging is the high point of the Fair. Students have an opportunity to describe their work to STEM professionals like you. Judges work as a team to evaluate their work, provide feedback and encouragement, and deliberate for awards.

Judges play a critical role in the success of the Fair. The job you do can affect students profoundly, sometimes altering their career choices and almost always influencing their attitudes towards science and technology. Having enough judges to allow each to do a good and careful job makes it easier to ensure that the effect we have will be a positive one.
